1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Joby, our website located at https://jobyevents.com/, and all related services provided by JOBY Events Organizing and Managing ("Joby", "we", "us").

By creating an account or using the Joby mobile application, you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must stop using Joby immediately.

If you access or download Joby from:

the Apple App Store, you agree to the Apple Media Services Terms and Usage Rules;
the Google Play Store, you agree to the Google Play Terms of Service.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at our discretion. If changes are significant, we will notify you via email and/or through the app. Updates become effective immediately upon publication.

2. Eligibility & Age Restrictions

Joby is intended only for individuals aged 17 and older. By using Joby, you confirm that:

you are at least 17 years old;
you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

We do not knowingly allow children under 17 to use Joby.

3. Limitations of Use

You agree not to:

modify, copy, decompile, or reverse engineer any part of Joby;
remove any copyright or proprietary notices;
transfer or mirror Joby materials to another device or server;
knowingly disrupt or misuse our networks or services;
use Joby to transmit unlawful, abusive, harassing, fraudulent, or obscene content;
violate any local or international laws while using the app;
send unauthorized advertising or spam;
collect or harvest data from other users without consent;
infringe upon the privacy or intellectual property rights of others.

4. Intellectual Property

All materials, branding, design elements, and content within Joby are owned by or licensed to JOBY Events Organizing and Managing.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable license to download and use Joby on your mobile device. This license automatically terminates if you violate these Terms.

5. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload or submit within Joby.

By uploading content, you grant Joby a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use, distribute, display, edit, or create derivative works of your content — solely for the purpose of operating the platform and matching you with opportunities, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We are not responsible for the actions of other users, but we take measures to detect fraud and misuse. Any fraudulent accounts will be permanently removed.

You may revoke our license by deleting your content or your account. However, if your content was used in promotional or commercial materials, the license may continue until such materials are discontinued.

6. Sharing Your Profile Information With Venues & Brands

To operate the platform, Joby must share certain parts of your profile with venues and brands when you:

apply for gigs or events,
accept invitations,
or participate in collaborations.

Shared information may include:

your name and username
WhatsApp or phone number
social media profiles
languages spoken
nationality
gender
profile photos or media

We share only what is necessary for venues to evaluate your application. For full details, refer to our Privacy Policy.

7. Account Management

You are responsible for:

providing accurate and updated information,
maintaining the security of your account,
all activity that occurs under your login.

If you suspect unauthorized access, you must notify us immediately. We are not liable for damage caused by your failure to secure your account.

8. Automatic Updates

By installing Joby, you give us permission to automatically download and install updates. You can disable this by removing the app.

9. Service Availability

We strive to keep Joby available at all times. However, we may temporarily disable the service for maintenance, updates, or technical issues. In urgent cases, we may do so without prior notice.

We appreciate your understanding as we work to improve reliability.

10. Third-Party Tools & Links

Joby may include tools or links operated by third-party providers. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for the accuracy or safety of their content.

Your use of third-party sites or tools is at your own risk.

11. Inaccuracies & Mistakes

Content within Joby may include errors or omissions. We reserve the right to update or correct any information without notice.

You are responsible for evaluating the accuracy of any information before relying on it.

12. Liability Disclaimer

Joby is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim:

implied warranties of merchantability or fitness,
liability for loss of profit, revenue, data, business, opportunity, goodwill,
liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow such limitations, so these exclusions may not apply to you.

13. Notice for Apple Users

When using Joby on iOS:

these Terms are between you and Joby, not Apple;
Apple is not responsible for maintenance, support, warranties, or claims;
Apple may refund the purchase price if the app fails to perform (if applicable);
Apple is a third-party beneficiary and may enforce these Terms.

You also confirm that:

you are not in a country under U.S. embargo,
you are not on any U.S. prohibited persons list.

14. Right to Terminate

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms.

15. Severability

If any clause in these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of UAE courts.
